Rebroadcast of Webinar: Blended Gifts: How to Guide Your Donor's Philanthropic Journey

Presenters: Ashley Buderus and Steven Meyers

Light refreshments will be served.  There will be networking and a tour of the Wheeler campus after the presentation for anyone interested.

Free Parking is adjacent to the building in the Faculty/Staff Parking lot at the corner of Hope and Angell Streets.

    About the webinar:

Two seasoned gift planners share mini-cases featuring the donors who helped them see the true potential of blended gifts. These are people who aren’t inspired by the typical “asks” and may not even think of themselves as philanthropists. They’re hoping for big impact, but they don’t have the means to make the minimum gift. And they want to see their gifts in action. Do donors like this fall through cracks between the silos at your organization, or can you offer options that really fit the donor’s timetable?

    What you’ll learn

    ·        How to recognize an opportunity and start a discussion that creates a gift that's right for the donor and your organization.

    ·        How to deal with obstacles to donor-centric blended gifts that may be presented by your own skill set or your organization's structure or policies.

    ·        How to tell a great story about your donors’ philanthropic journey to gain support from management and the board.
